Kick-off for Microbiome with a record number of entries

The I International Forum of Agricultural Microorganisms begins, attended by a thousand professionals

Today begins the I International Forum of Agricultural Microorganisms, an event that has managed to bring together in Cartagena more than 1000 professionals from companies, organizations, research centers, universities, etc., coming from all over Spain as well as from a dozen countries around the world such as France, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Chile, Ecuador or Mexico.

Attendees will be able to enjoy during these two days (Wednesday and Thursday) interesting presentations with current content related to a subject that arouses the greatest interest in the entire agricultural sector, particularly due to its importance in the adoption of sustainable strategies that improve the production of the crops.

Today, Wednesday, the block dedicated to current legislation will be addressed, both at a national and European level in terms of phytosanitary products of microbial origin, microorganisms and biostimulants, as well as the recently processed new European Union regulations that favor the use of organic fertilizers. In a second block, the application of microorganisms as a tool for the control of pests and diseases will be discussed.

Already on Thursday, in the closing day, it will be time to talk about biostimulants and fertilizers of microbial origin.

Transmission of knowledge and promotion of business between companies and professionals

The Microbiome Forum is seen as a great opportunity to promote inter-company relations, and in fact the Networking Platform launched by the organization has had an extraordinary acceptance with more than 100 interviews arranged since its launch, which can be held in a room specially set up in the El Batel auditorium itself.

The stand area will also be of great interest, where 10 of the main companies related to the agricultural world exhibit, and which will present the main innovations in techniques and application of agricultural microorganisms, publicizing their products and services.
