Symborg is the first Spanish company to register its products as fertilizers based on microorganisms in the official register of fertilizers authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and the Environment
Symborg, a reference company in research and development of agricultural biotechnology, will participate as a Gold Sponsor in Microbiome 2, which on November 3 and 4 will develop a complete technical program on microorganisms applied to agriculture at the El Batel auditorium in Cartagena.
Symborg helps farmers to maximize their performance by overcoming the challenge of sustainability, providing innovative biological solutions, focusing its activity on the development of innovative technology, sharing its experience internationally.
Its innovative biological solutions maximize crop yields and protect the environment by overcoming the challenge of sustainability.
Founded in 2009 by Jesús Juárez and Félix Fernández, both with extensive professional careers in the fields of research and agriculture, Symborg has established itself as a leading company in Bioagro. With subsidiaries in Spain, Mexico, the United States, Turkey and China, its products are used in more than 50 countries.
Agent committed to biotechnology applied to agriculture
Symborg all works to promote research and development of mycorrhizal technologies internationally as a member of the IMS (International Mycorrhiza Society) association.
It is also a member of the IBMA (International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association) and BPIA (Biological Product Industry Alliance), and is actively involved in promoting the concept of biological control methods in sustainable agriculture, raising awareness about biopesticides as effective products, and conducting improvements in regulatory processes worldwide, within its quality and environment policy
BlueN, your first natural nitrogen-fixing biofertilizer
Symborg is the first Spanish company that has managed to register its products as fertilizers based on microorganisms in the official register of fertilizers authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment. At the moment it has completed the registration of four of its products: MycoUp, MycoUp Activ, Resid HC and TrichoSym Bio. The first two belong to the category of products based on mycorrhizae and the last one, to products based on non-mycorrhizal microorganisms.
It has recently launched its first natural nitrogen-fixing biofertilizer, BlueN, which is capable of replacing fertilizers and nitrogenous chemical fertilizers.
BlueN allows crops to take the 60% of the Nitrogen they need directly from the air thanks to a bacterium discovered and patented by the company that settles in the leaves and transforms the N2 into amino acids assimilated by the plants.
The discovery of BlueN is totally revolutionary since it guarantees an effective and controlled contribution of nitrogen to the plant in a biological way, reducing the contribution of both inorganic and organic industrial nitrogen up to 60 %, depending on the crops.
Symborg's team has carried out scientific tests that support its effectiveness in various crops, managing to reduce conventional nitrogen fertilization and, at the same time, increase productivity. “So far BlueN is the only alternative tool to traditional nitrogen fertilizers that allows maintaining the production and profitability of the crops without environmental impact. It is a profitable, effective and sustainable product” says Félix Fernández, Director of Technology Surveillance and Competitive Intelligence at Symborg.
