Both important events were presented today, Thursday, at Fruit Logistica in Berlin by the Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Region of Murcia, Miguel Ángel del Amor.
The city of Murcia will host the event on March 6 (III Stone Fruit Congress), and Cartagena will host the I International Forum on Microorganisms, on May 29 and 30.
Between March and May 2019, the Region of Murcia will become the epicenter of the international agricultural sector with the holding of two important events such as the III Congress of Stone Fruit (March 6) and the I International Forum of Microorganisms ( May 29 and 30). The Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Region of Murcia, Miguel Ángel del Amor, and the General Director of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Francisco González, together with the managers of the organizing company agromarketing, Antonio Santos and Arturo Soler, were in charge of presenting both events at the stand of the Region of Murcia, at the Fruit Logistica fair in Berlin.
The cities of Murcia and Cartagena will host two events that hope to bring together more than 800 professionals from around the world in each of them. The III Congress of Stone Fruit is already a consolidated event for the sector that takes place in 2019 after giving the event a biennial character. On this occasion, the Polytechnic University of Cartagena chairs the Scientific Committee with the collaboration of research centers such as Imida, Cebas-Csic and Miguel Hernández University, as well as a large representation of experts from leading companies. On the other hand, Agromarketing and Ideagro will organize the 1st International Microbiome Forum on May 29 and 30. An event in which the different aspects that affect this new and enormous field of research on the use of microorganisms and their application to agriculture will be discussed. This forum is intended to solve the great uncertainty regarding the management, application and current legislation regarding this type of product.
Issues related to fertilizers of microbial origin, biostimulants, insecticides and nematicides will be discussed from a scientific-technical point of view by international experts.
