Given the recommendations of the health authorities regarding the holding of mass events, the organization of the Microbioma Workshop 2020, which was to be held on March 25 in Lisbon, has decided, prudently, to postpone its celebration. The new date that is being considered is next June as long as events have normalized.
On behalf of Agromarketing and Ideagro, as organizers of the event and the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon as an institutional partner, we regret having to adopt this sad decision, especially given the interest that its celebration has aroused to the point that registrations They have not stopped even after announcing these extraordinary measures by the health authorities.
From the organization we ask for understanding with the adoption of this decision to all those people who had registered for the event, forced by the exceptional circumstances that are being experienced worldwide, and we are very grateful for the receptiveness of sponsors and collaborators before this decision, as well as their willingness to continue betting on the celebration of this event that will undoubtedly be successful.
