It is a microorganism capable of establishing itself both in the aerial and root parts of the crop for a long period of time.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>

\u201cPRESTOP: a milestone in the Biological Control of Diseases\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>

Comercial Qu\u00edmica Mass\u00f3 SA, a company with more than a century in the chemical industry, has developed Prestop, a product that contains a microorganism that has marked a before and after in the biological control of airborne diseases. Its special characteristics outline it as ideal also at the root.<\/p>

The use of preparations based on microorganisms in the Integrated Management of Diseases is shown to be one of the control options with the most future possibilities as long as we have the tool that adapts well to our conditions.<\/p>

Until recently, integrated management was highly developed in terms of pests (insects and mites) due to the adaptation of beneficial organisms to our climate, but the Mass\u00f3 Agro Department launched PRESTOP onto the market, which contains a microorganism against diseases capable of to establish itself with a proven guarantee over time, in the foliar area of the crop, as well as in its rhizosphere.<\/p>

This makes it possible to fight against diseases such as Botrytis or Mycosphaerella and other soil diseases, with a tool that is different from the chemical control carried out up to now and with a high level of efficacy, demonstrated in various tests carried out by independent companies.<\/p>

PRESTOP contains Gliocladium catenulatum, (strain J1446) which is a beneficial fungus registered as a biological fungicide in the European Annex I for the control of Botrytis and Mycosphaerella in foliar applications and Pythium, Phytophthora, Rhizoctonia and Fusarium in soil applications.<\/p>

In addition, it is included in the Integrated Production programs of the Junta de Andaluc\u00eda and is certified in organic farming by the Andalusian Committee for Organic Agriculture.
